Intermediate Chorus

More challenging repertoire, mastery of basic music rudiments, part-singing, and dramatic character development are key areas of focus of the Intermediate Chorus. Young people explore singing in languages other than English from a wide variety of genres and styles.

The Intermediate Chorus takes the lead in the Junior Division Opera Production each season, which prepares them for their work as a chorus in the main stage production.

Training provided in the Intermediate Chorus is fundamental to preparing young singers for the Principal Chorus, the CCOC’s main performing chorus.
