Butterfly Beginnings is an introductory program designed for children ages 4 and 5 to explore the art of storytelling through singing, physical expression, spoken text, and multi-arts activities. Through singing, movement, listening, and sharing, children are introduced to the fundamentals of rhythm, meter, melody, and pitch, as well as characterization and both physical and aural communication skills.

The program supports the development of concentration and body awareness, laying a strong foundation for further growth in singing, movement, and acting. Participants also cultivate expression, cooperation, collaboration, and creativity, while building meaningful connections between themselves, the music, and the stories they explore. Along the way, they strengthen their listening abilities and develop confidence and social skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
