Young Artist Studio

The Young Artist Studio is a pre-professional training program for singers aged 16 and up, and changed tenor and bass voices, who are interested in honing their skills through Opera performance. Through weekly musical and dramatic coachings, participants develop various aspects of their stagecraft in a safe and inclusive environment as they collaborate to mount a full operatic production in the spring. Specialized workshops catered by working operatic professionals and excursions to various opera performances around the city are also offered, connecting participants to the Toronto musical community at large.

Auditions are open to all who demonstrate a genuine interest in the program. Successful applicants show a developing level of skill or potential in both music and performance, along with a strong commitment and a desire to work toward a high standard of excellence.
