Board of Directors
The makeup of the Board reflects the diversity of the broader community and of the CCOC parent body. Board members chair and serve on various standing and ad hoc committees. This is a working board, and members are chosen for their professionalism, spirit, and active volunteerism. If you are interested in serving on the board of directors, contact us now
Standing committees include Marketing, Governance & Finance, and Fundraising. Ad hoc committees include Gala and Tour. Committees include members of the board as well as other volunteers from the membership and the community. Let us know if you are interested in serving on any of our committees.
Event Volunteers (Members only)
The CCOC recognizes the importance of involving volunteers from the parent and general community, and aim to have all families involved in some way. Volunteers assist at rehearsals, performances, fundraisers, camps, and tours. Contact your appropriate chorus e-mail if you are interested in volunteering at CCOC rehearsals and events.
Chorus Council (Members only)
Members of the Principal Chorus participate in a council, which meets regularly, plans social events, gives staff feedback on the program, and provide peer leadership within the organization.
BINGO Ambassador (Members only)
Help the CCOC raise much needed funds by becoming a Bingo Ambassador! The CCOC is part of the Rama Gaming House – Toronto East. Our volunteers work in teams of two and are responsible for greeting and welcoming guests and players; engaging players in a conversation about the charity; providing some player support if required; and, maintaining the overall orderliness/cleanliness of the Bingo hall.
