As you might know, the CCOC is an active participant in the Bingo Gaming Program of Ontario. This is a program run by OLG, the OCGA, and various Charitable Gaming Centres across Ontario that enlist the help of individuals tied to a specific Charity (like the CCOC) to volunteer on behalf of that Charity. In exchange for their commitment, the Charity that they represent receives a substantial donation based on a percentage of all gaming profits earned at the Gaming Centre.
The CCOC wants to extend a big THANK YOU to the OLG, the OCGA, and the Rama Gaming House (Scarborough) for their contributions of over $155,500.00 towards the CCOC’s programming during our 22/23 season!
We also want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all of our Parent/Caregiver Volunteers as well as our Emergency Volunteers who stepped up to fill our shifts at the Rama Gaming Hall and are the reason that we have been able to particiapte in this incredible program. By commiting to a 2 hour shift every now and then, these Volunteers have earned the CCOC up to $1,500.00 per shift and their commitment ultimately makes a HUGE impact on the enrichment of our Chorister’s experience!
For the CCOC, our Bingo funding is an important part of maintaining our financial base and ensures our ability to continue to meet our mission to empower young voices from diverse communities and abilities by providing transformative music education and professional performance opportunities.
Without the Bingo Gaming Program of Ontario and our amazing Volunteers, we simply wouldn’t have the funding required to provide the level of programming that we offer here at the CCOC, so THANK YOU to everyone who helped out during the 22/23 season Bingo Program to make it such a success!
